Summer Term 2021 - Surreal Still Life

This term our 9-11yrs classes have been observing and exploring Surreal Still Life. Learning about perspective and tonal work with colour, we have been using watercolour paint to create bold and striking Still Life pieces.
Spring Term 2020 - Work in Progress
This term our 9-11yrs classes have been creating frames inspired by Mexican Nichos, using card, plaster and acrylic paints. The frames are ready for the students self-portraits inspired by the work of Frida Kahlo. We cannot wait to see the finished masterpieces!
Autumn Term 2019 - Creating elegant Victorian Theatres
This term our 8-11yrs classes have been busy learning about and creating 3D Victorian Theatres! Choosing their own theme, characters and name, they explored and experimented with a variety of media to create, beautifully elaborate, bold theatres!
